Jimmy Richardson is a Charlotte native who attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He went on to gain extensive experience in the home-building industry since 1984, working with Builders and Contractors building homes from the ground up to completion.

Jimmy has a North Carolina Residential Contractors License #88268. His attention to detail, hands-on involvement in each project, and communication skills with his clients throughout the project make for an enjoyable experience with Richardson Residential GC  Services. Jimmy will be with you every step of the way throughout your project.

Jimmy married Melissa Baker in 2015 (who were also friends from High School in Charlotte), and together, they formed a Real Estate Team with Allen Tate Realtors. Jimmy and Melissa have their NC/SC Real Estate Licenses and have over 30 years of experience representing buyers and sellers in Charlotte and the surrounding market.

Together, they will help their clients make the best construction decisions to bring the most value to their homes. In addition, Melissa assists with all design aspects of the projects. 

Jimmy and Melissa have a blended family comprising six adult children and eight grandchildren. Jimmy was a caregiver for his aging parents for three years. His hobbies include Boating, Camping, and all Sports. He enjoys spending time with his family and his beloved dog, Copper.
